How quickly can my loved one move in?

It depends on availability and the outcome of a pre-admission assessment, which we carry out to make sure we can meet your loved one's needs properly. In some cases, particularly where there is an urgent need following a hospital discharge or a sudden change in circumstances, we can move things forward quickly. In others, families prefer to take a little more time. Either way, we will be straightforward with you about timescales from the start. The best first step is to call us and we can talk through what is possible.

What care do you offer?

Across our two homes we provide nursing care, specialist complex dementia nursing, residential care, respite care and rehabilitation care. The Gables in Oldbury specialises in nursing and complex dementia nursing, including for people with challenging behaviour. Swan House in Willenhall offers residential, nursing, dementia and respite care, and is well known for supporting people through rehabilitation and recovery. How much does care cost?

Fees vary depending on the type of care needed and the level of support required. We will always explain costs clearly, tell you what is included and be upfront about anything that may affect the price. Please call or send us a message and we will talk you through what to expect.

What funding support is available?

There are several ways care can be funded, including self-funding, local authority funding, NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC). We can talk you through the options and point you in the right direction - we want the process to feel as clear and manageable as possible.
